SW-opening site in the western arm of Lucice cove on the south coast of Brac, where the cave faces out down the Hvar Channel (orientationAngle 225). The widest exposure is the open channel mouth in the SW-WSW, with the SSW partly fronted by Hvar's western tip (Cape Pelegrin); this is also the line the SE Jugo (Sirocco) seas wrap into the cove, driving the heaviest surge at the shallow entrance. The bulk of Brac blocks the landward N-NE-E sectors, while Solta and the Razanj headland of Brac shadow the W-NW window and Hvar's northwest tip partly fronts the due-S line, so the cove is calm except when a southerly or jugo swell is running.
