Leo Carrillo

South-facing beach with exposed points. Wide open to south through south-southwest swell which hits at near-full strength, with south-southeast moderated past the Catalina and San Clemente shadow edges. Southwest and west-southwest arrive at high exposure through the open corridor south of the Channel Islands, while west and west-northwest reach the outer reefs with most of their energy despite the Anacapa-Santa Cruz-Santa Rosa chain upstream. Protected from north and northeast completely; even small swells can generate rip currents near the rocks.
