Lying roughly 500 m off Cap Sant Sebastià, this open-water pinnacle cluster faces southeast and takes the full Mediterranean wind-wave fetch from the NE round through the E to the S, driven by the Gregal from the northeast, the Llevant easterly and the warm Scirocco/Migjorn from the south. The afternoon garbí sea breeze from the SW kicks up partial chop, while the strong regional Tramuntana blows offshore from the land here and the headland plus the Catalan coast shelter the entire landward W-NW arc. Conditions are best in flat, post-Tramuntana spells; an E, SE or NE blow shuts the site down.
