North-northwest facing pocket whose seawall shelters the entry from direct west and southwest swell, while north through northwest energy wraps into the opening at moderate levels. The actual dive is on the reefs outside the breakwater, which see substantially more of the prevailing west and northwest swell than the protected pool, so expect surge on the reefs even when the pool looks calm. Visibility is notoriously fickle, often turning silty due to the enclosed nature of the breakwater.
