Historic shore dive fully exposed to the open Atlantic. Direct hits from north through southeast swells, with south arriving only refracted around the Hatteras arc create surf. Southwest energy is partially reduced while west and west-northwest swells are blocked. Shifting sands can expose or bury parts of the wreck seasonally.
