About This Site
Otter Cove is a small, sheltered cove located just north of Lover's Point in Pacific Grove. Named for the sea otters that frequently rest in its calm waters, this beginner-friendly site offers easy access to kelp forests and rocky reefs. The protected nature of the cove makes it an excellent choice for new divers, underwater photography, and night dives.

North and north-northwest see moderate exposure, with northwest sitting right on Point Pinos' shadow edge at similar levels. West-northwest wraps in at moderate exposure, while west arrives at low to moderate levels. Conditions remain fairly calm despite the northerly window.
