Molokini Crater

Protected inside the crescent, offering excellent shelter from southerly swell year-round. The interior opens toward the north, so north and west swells can send surge and reduced visibility into the crater at partial strength. Back wall takes the brunt of southern swell. Inside is a sanctuary; tips experience strong open ocean currents.
